This is a Delco 37MT (24V) Starter, Using DE Housing #1986333, a 4-Terminal Solenoid, No Case Ground Studs, and a 12-T Drive. The 6293 is the Same Unit, Except Using the Lever Housing for Opposite Drive Opening. The 6291 is the Same as the 6292, Except Using a "Jump Start Protection" Solenoid. This Starter Has a 4-Terminal Solenoid, But the SW Terminal is Attached Directly to the B+ Terminal, and the Ground Terminal is Going to an Insulated Post (Insulated Ground?) on the Case (For a Shunt Coil). There Appears to Be a Slave Solenoid or SP Switch That Feeds the B+ on the Starter, and Thus Engages the Solenoid and Motor. The B+ Strap From the Motor Terminal to the Case is About 4" Long (Longer Than Standard 37MT's).
